The thing about my blog is that it doesn’t begin to define me. I am so much more than anything you read here. I am a Fierce Iron Femme and a deeply committed Feminist. I love being single. I am not in the market for a life partner, although I’ve been surprized before. I don’t write to paint a picture of myself for someone else to examine and decide whether or not I have potential. I don’t consider my blog an advertisement but rather something to provoke thought both in myself and others. I write about what is on my mind. No matter how much I write, there will still be things that you cannot know about me. These are snapshots of a moment of ongoing life.
Some of the people who read this will know me in real life. And reading my blog may seem like too much information. I’ll take a page from my new friend Natt Nightly and just say this, please regard anything you read here as a confidence shared late at night with a close friend, not as fodder for the gossip mills. If there is something here that you find you need to talk with me about, please contact me directly.
Sat nam
Kip
What does Sat Nam mean?
Sat Nam – I am a practioner of Kundalini yoga, and Sat Nam is a greeting and a mantra that we use. It is sanskrit, and so has many translations, but all of them have to do with Truth or essence. Seek truth, the process of naming one’s self truth, acknowledging the Truth (and therefore Divinity) in another, I am truth, bowing to the essence of one’s being, etc.
I wasn’t angry when I posted that question. Not sure why the angry pic came up.
Yeah, they just give you the random pic, and you have to live with it – unless you upload your own!
